Terahertz Free Electron Laser

The use of small high-frequency accelerator technology is gradually increasing
in medical, industrial, and defense industries.

Mainly , we are developing source technologies for accelerators that are competitive in the market. We have a source technology of microtron circular accelerator that is cost-effect, small and has excellent performance.

We have obtained a small accelerator technology with excellent beam characteristics in the 3 ~ 7 MeV energy band.

Also, we have succeeded in local manufacturing of a high-voltage pulsed power supply for high-frequency operation, which costs much money in a high-frequency accelerator. Especially, IGBT solid-state switch was used for the first time in the world to adjust freely pulse size and shape of the magnetron, which is a high-frequency generator. 50 kV, 100 A, 6 μs high-voltage pulses can be generated in any size and shape.
